Sainte-Anne Structure Session

Project #26M050

The superiors of French-speaking monasteries in West Africa established the Sainte-Anne Structure to assist community formators in preparing and delivering courses, as well as to support the ongoing formation of the communities. The Sainte-Anne Structure enables brothers and sisters who lack the qualifications required for university study to receive the training necessary to deepen their monastic lives. The training program spans eight years, consisting of a three-month session every two years. The structure is presided over by Abbot Olivier-Marie Sarr (Keur Moussa).

Project:

The Church history Formation session will take place from July 1 to September 30, 2026, in Koubri (Burkina Faso), at the Benedictine monasteries for monks and nuns. Twenty students will participate in the session, alongside six instructors and two tutors. Financial support is needed for the smooth running of the session (instructors' fees, administrative costs, venue rental, etc.).

Financial assistance: 20 000 euros
